About Us
Ritha Foundation is a non-profit organization (NPO) dedicated to empowering underserved communities in South Africa, particularly in Gauteng. Established under its constitution on October 18, 2016, the foundation operates as a body corporate, existing independently from its members.

Our Mission
The Ritha Foundation exists to forge a future where poverty is not merely managed, but dismantled. We believe in a South Africa where every community is the author of its own destiny. Our mission is to be a catalyst for this transformation, building from the ground up and radiating outward.
Core Initiatives: Guided by a commitment to community-tailored development, the foundation delivers several targeted programs:
Youth Empowerment: Provides entrepreneurial and skills development for unemployed youth in informal settlements to build long-term self-sufficiency.
Educational Support: Operates mobile homework centers and labs across Gauteng to foster a culture of excellence in STEM fields for children.
Women & Girls: Delivers timely education and empowerment initiatives specifically for previously disadvantaged women and girls.
Community Safety & Health: Implements evidence-based anti-crime and anti-substance abuse programs, along with rehabilitative services.
Technology Access: Deploys unique IT solutions directly within communities to grant access to essential technology.
Inclusive Social Services: Provides diverse social programs, including specialized support tailored for disabled individuals.
NPO Capacity Building: Offers programs to help other South African non-profits maximize their resources, knowledge, and resilience.
